FAQ

  • I don’t have any experience/am a recent grad/don’t meet all the criteria, should I still apply?
Absolutely, we love hearing from anyone who is enthusiastic about changing the games industry. Not sure you meet all qualifications? Let us decide! Research shows that women and members of other under-represented groups tend to not apply to jobs when they think they may not meet every qualification, when, in fact, they often do! At Activision Blizzard, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply.
  • Can I apply for multiple roles?
Of course! Though we would also encourage you to make sure you read the job descriptions for each position and to apply to only those that genuinely fit with your skills/experience/interest/passion.
  • Can I re-apply for roles in the future if I did not get selected?
Definitely, as you continue to grow and develop your experiences, we’d love to consider any future applications
  • What do I do if the role I’m looking for isn't currently posted?

We’re constantly growing our team, so if the role you’re looking for isn’t currently posted, be sure to check back on our careers page https://careers.treyarch.com/ in the future/keep an eye on it.

  • How long can I expect to hear back after applying?
We try our best to get back to everyone in a timely manner and for most people that should be within a few days of applying, though circumstances can change and so we appreciate your patience if it’s a little longer.
  • What does the interview process look like?

Our hiring process can sometimes vary depending on the type of role you're interviewing for so your recruiter will walk you through the exact steps, in general, there are three types of interviews at Treyarch:

    1. Hiring Manager Interview: Hiring manager interviews are a chance to meet with the hiring manager one-on-one. Expect to speak about your knowledge, skills, and experience during this step in the process. This interview is also an opportunity for you to ask critical questions about the role and learn more about the team.

    2. Technical Assessment: Certain roles will include a Technical Assessment component. Our goal at Treyarch is to hire the best employees to develop our games. Our engineering team strives for bug-free code that will last through game changes, and our art team strives for excellent assets. During the technical interview, you should expect to show off your technical expertise. Please speak with your recruiter to receive more details on the technical evaluation format.

    3. Panel Interview: Some interview schedules might include panel interviews. Our panel interviews consist of two or more interviewers that you may directly or indirectly work with, like the manager of the position and other team members. Panel Interviews are a great opportunity to learn more about Treyarch from multiple perspectives. Ahead of your interview, your recruiter will let you know who you will be meeting.
